School Halloween Dress Up Oct. 29

Although the traditional Halloween Parade is out, costumes and celebrations will still occur. (As one of our wise first graders told me--it will be the only year students actually get to wear masks--although masks of a different kind!) Please help us enjoy this day by keeping costumes G-rated for school and following dress guidelines so that we can follow the rules but still have a fun time! Please remember that excessive gore and weapons don't meet this guideline.

We are sad not to be able to participate in this annual event, but don't worry--we will make a school video showing costumes and events to be able to share with our Maple Ridge Families in order to join in on the fun that day. It will be posted at for you to enjoy on Halloween at home!

PTA Reflections Entries Due

Tuesday, Nov. 3rd, 9am

This is an online event.

Remember to turn in your PTA Reflections project. The theme for this year, 2020-2021, is "I Matter Because. . .".

PTA Reflections welcomes, free of charge, students from all grades and abilities to explore and be involved in the arts. Annually, thousands of students will reflect on a common theme and create original works of art in the categories of Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, 2D Visual Arts, and 3D Visual Arts.

PTA volunteers run the Reflections program at the local school, council, region, and state levels. Between 10,000 and 13,000 entries are submitted annually in Utah and roughly 300,000 entries are submitted nationwide.
