Dear Kindergarten Families,
Congratulations on completing Kindergarten at Brooklyn Prospect! We are so excited that your child is continuing their academic journey with us next year!
Please see your email for some optional resources to support your child in preparation for next year. We have provided a Kindergarten review packet in order for your child to maintain their literacy and mathematical skills. Please refer to your child’s skills assessment table in their narrative to identify any areas of need. If your child is not proficient, we highly recommend you to complete this work in order for them to build a strong foundation of Kindergarten skills before they encounter more challenging first grade concepts. We encourage all students to read for at least 15 minutes per day.
Have a great summer and see you in September!
Warmly,
Your Kindergarten Teachers
Note: * If you do not have access to a printer and need a hard-copy of these packets please email us by Monday so we can send it home before the end of school.
