March is Reading Month
Keep reading at home!
March is Reading Month! Arrrrgh! Open a book and find a treasure! The media center has turned into a Pirate's Cove, and our "bookaneers" will celebrate reading all month long. Please look through reading information that comes home with students. The class with the most minutes will display the reading trophy for their grade level. "Yo ho, yo ho, reading is right for me!"
Kick Off Assembly Enjoyed by all!
The students were treated to a storyteller assembly on Friday morning. The students enjoyed an interactive experience to help promote reading! Judy Sima is an award winning Michigan storyteller, author, and teaching artist and the students enjoyed her presentation.

Head Lice
Please notify the school if your child has head lice. This assists us with lice checks and monitoring.
Please continue to check for head lice. If you need assistance or have a question contact Donna Judd or Angela Ashburn.
If your child has head lice it is helpful if you contact anyone who had direct contact so they can check their child.
Thank you for your assistance.

Encourage the love of art and develop cartoon skills in a Young Rembrandts class. Our Cartoon students will learn to draw exaggerated facial features as they ex-plore the humorous sides of kids and parents. They will also learn to incorporate sound effects into art. Personi-fying ordinary animals and transforming them into car-toon characters along with telling jokes on paper will be the focus of many of our lessons.
