Positive Raiders: Responsible, Respectful, Hard Working and Kind
Mr. Corso’s Principal’s Message
Safety and the Parking Lot: A student came to me and asked to remind families to slow down in the parking lot. Our priority is making sure students feel safe. This Week’s Positive Message: On Wednesday, Mr. Corso shared this with all students...
Tomorrow, we have no school. While we all are excited to have a day off, this day represents a very special day in America, Veterans Day. Yesterday in Homeroom, you learned about Veterans Day. In 1919, President Wilson proclaimed November 11 as the first commemoration of Armistice Day. Armistice Day recognized the bravery of our soldiers during World War I. In 1954, November 11th became a day to honor American veterans of all wars when President Dwight D. Eisenhower issued the first "Veterans Day Proclamation." Our freedoms are not free and we have our Veterans to thank for those freedoms. Tomorrow, I will thank my father and brother who both served our country proudly. I encourage you to thank our Veterans for their service. Thank you for listening.
Mr. Corso and the Caboose: Mr. Corso told students about a story when he was in school on BMTV on Wednesday . He emphasizes the importance of facing challenges and the role of hard work in overcoming those challenges. Here is a link to that video… https://youtu.be/r6A2PScoHJQ

REMINDER: Early Release: If you need to pick your child up before the end of the regular school day, please call the Attendance Office by the start of the school day or call at least two (2) hours prior to pick up specifying the time you will pick them up so we can have them in the office waiting for you. This will prevent delays for you (such as trying to find your child while they are running in PE) and will help minimize interruptions to the classroom.
The Attendance Hotline is available 24 hours a day. Please note: if we do not receive a call and you want to pick up your child early, you will need to show identification.
Lost and Found: Please encourage your student to check out the lost and found for any missing items. Lost and Found is located near the library entrance in the quad.
A better school starts with each one of us.
