The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 1990. Since then, NSSD112 has struggled to comply with the law in its aging school facilities. The proposed Long-Range Phase 2 plan would bring all District 112 schools into compliance with this 30-year-old law. Both District 112 middle schools renovated during Phase 1 are ADA compliant.
