SAT & ACT

Seniors: You can still register for the in-school SAT. LCPS has re-opened the registration and payment portals for current seniors to take the College Board’s SAT test with Essay on Tuesday, October 27. Students may register via this link and preference will be given to students who have not previously taken the SAT test.

Juniors: our PTSO is partnering with several local test prep companies to offer FREE, virtual SAT and ACT practice tests in late October and early November. Not only is it free, but you will receive a detailed assessment of where you may need to work for better results. There is no obligation to use these companies’ services but if you do, the RRHS PTSO will benefit.

10/26 @ 9:00 AM Revolution Prep – choice of SAT or ACT

11/14 Loudoun Test Prep – test is available all weekend with a choice of SAT or ACT. Please put the following code in the notes so LTP knows the registration came from a RRHS family. RRHS2020

Test Optional – I can’t stress enough to read the “fine print” for each college regarding test optional. Some colleges still want a score other documentation. I am starting to see college’s request a graded essay from our junior or senior year or three AP test scores. Always check this website for the latest information:
