Next week is Thanksgiving Break! We hope everyone enjoys the time away and spends time remembering why you are thankful, not just this time of year, but throughout the year. When we return, we have a busy and fun 4 weeks until Christmas Break!

Don't forget to sell those Chick-fil-a Calendars while we are off. Order forms and money are due the Tuesday we return, November 28.

Thank you for all you do for our students and our campus! We appreciate you!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Attendance Incentives:

This 6 weeks we have GOOGLE CHROMEBOOKS for the students that have perfect attendance. We will be having two separate drawings, one for K-3rd and 4th-6th grade students. A total of two students will win a Google ChromeBook. If you have any questions feel free to contact Jennifer Bueno at

Battle of the Books:

"As we enter the holiday season, students find themselves with more leisure time than usual. Please encourage your Battle participant to take this time to read the last few Battle books and practice quizzing themselves or teammates on titles and authors. Students are allowed to check out Battle books over the holiday breaks. Our only Battle practice quiz will take place 2 weeks after the Thanksgiving break. This practice will give students a clear idea of how the final Battle will work. Also, Battle shirts should be arriving any day! Students may wear this shirt any Friday and also on official Battle days in January. We can't wait to see all of our students' hard work pay off. Keep calm and READ ON!!!"

From Our Music Teacher:

2nd grade:

The Christmas show will be Tues. Dec. 5. 2nd grade students need to arrive at 5:30PM and they will need to report to their classroom. The play will begin promptly at 6:00PM. Students should come dressed as a Reindeer, an Elf, or a North Pole character such as a Polar Bear or Penguin. We will see you there!

3rd-5th grade students:

Please remember to bring your own Recorder instrument to Music class every week.

6th Grade Music class will begin a unit on the Ukelele in January! If your child has a ukelele, they may start bringing it in January to play in class. Students may purchase their own ukelele if they choose, but it is not required. We will practice taking turns and playing with a partner.
