Message from Mrs. Duffey
I am very proud of our students and staff as we all adjust to online learning. We had planned to include more blended learning activities for students soon, but the plan was to gradually implement these strategies and not to jump in with both feet first! It is odd for us not to see the smiling faces of our students each day, and the energy they bring to campus is missed, but we know social distancing will help keep everyone safe for now.
Please continue to set aside a time and a place for students to work on assignments each day, and remind them to take a break every now and then as well. Check grades regularly with them and encourage students to reach out to teachers if they have any questions about their work. When teachers offer interactive lessons, encourage your child(ren) to participate. Our counselors are available too if students need to visit with them about concerns they have. Take good care of yourselves and your families, and I hope to see you and our students in a couple of weeks.

eLearning Update
Parents and students, please make sure you are getting online and working on the eLearning assignments. Reach out to your student(s) teachers if you need any assistance.
The third nine week marking period has ended. Teachers will be verifying grades this week, so please check your child’s grades in the Home Access Center with them and make sure they have completed all assignments.
The eLearning instruction for the week of March 23rd - March 27th will focus on new content and standards. Please note teachers will begin tracking student progress on completed assignments based on the activities submitted through eLearning.
The eLearning lesson plans for the upcoming week will be posted on campus websites at 12:00pm on Monday for the week.
The Monday schedule and virtual office hours have been revised to reflect time for teacher collaboration and lesson preparation. Virtual office hours for accessibility are:
1:00-3:00 pm on Monday
9:00-11:00 am and 1:00-3:00 pm Tuesday - Friday
As a reminder, your child’s teacher is your first point of contact in supporting your child through this eLearning process. Therefore, we encourage you to maintain close communication with your child’s teacher through the utilization of the virtual office hours established. In addition, your child’s teacher can further support you if you are unsure of your child’s log-in information to any necessary resources. Please contact your child’s teacher if you do not have this information.
Student Monitoring
Students, please check your email regularly (I know it's not a habit) for information and updates from your teachers.

Note from Mrs. Eldredge!
I’m so proud of everyone’s hard work this week as we all adjust to eLearning. We miss all of you and look forward to returning to campus. Stay positive and keep doing your best!
Meal Information for FISD Students
Dear Frisco ISD Parents,
Families who receive meals from our meals pick-up service will need to complete a new form for March 23-April 3 which can be found here.
In an effort to maintain the health and safety of our families and Frisco ISD workers, Frisco ISD has updated our practices for the delivery of meals to vehicles. Please note the following additions to our practices below:
Please stay in your vehicle
Display your student name(s) and ID number(s) on a sheet of paper in the front passenger side window to be visible to child nutrition workers when driving up
Meals will be handed to families on a tray – please remove meals from the tray and place in your vehicle
Please note that some of the campuses have moved their pick up locations around the buildings to be closer to cafeterias so child nutrition workers have easier access to our kitchens. Child Nutrition workers look forward to seeing you at the white tents. The campuses where meals are available are listed below:

Any reading counts. Read to your kids at night-it counts, kids read to the dog-it counts, kids read to each other-it counts. Get the idea! Please have the whole family join today!! The competition starts as soon as you join and ends on April 3rd.
