Samuel Slater

The founder of American industrialization.

He brought it to America

when he was in England, he worked in a mill. While working he saw how the machines worked. So when he came to America, he made a new machine that worked almost the same way as the ones in England. He made a fortune off of his new invention in America.

England tries to fight it

When England got word of his invention, they tried to put patented on the machine they made. They did not want anybody to take it to America because they were the big producer of raw goods. If America gets a hold of the design, they will begin to produce raw goods into finished products.
