Week of November 11th-15th, 2019
Branching out beyond the traditional teaching......
Utilizing more technology, Maker Space activities, and STEM easily help to incorporate the 4C's into student learning. To prepare our students for their future careers, they need to communicate, collaborate, be creative and critically think...........how are you providing opportunities of this on a daily basis? Step out of your comfort zone and take this leap!
You have the supports here to help, reach out to me, Deaneen and Chelsey! We would love to be a part of your journey!
Speaking of technology, I am not sure if all of you sue Brain Pop, but here is a link worth reading and looking through!
Congratulations Robotics Team!
All made it to finals.....and
We got 3rd place!!!!

What to bring to DATA MEETINGS:
As we meet for data meetings this week, please bring that "proof" to show your kids are learning and growing. This data will likely not look the same for all or some of you. How do you know they are progressing, what do you use to show it? that is what you want to bring to share with me.
How often are you using your NWEA data and learning continuum to support student achievement? How are you assessing along the way to see if they are progressing? Are your expectations high for ALL students? Ask your students to do more than you think they are capable of, you will be surprised as they rise to the challenge!
Teachers in 3rd-5th, please make sure to bring data for those specific "targeted" students from our SIP plan that we are pushing to high levels to pass ILEARN. I would like you to focus on these kids first in our data discussions.
I look forward to hearing about your student's progress thus far this year!
