Room to Read

Reception and Celebration, May 11, 2014

Please join us to learn more about Room to Read, and how you, too, can make a difference!

Inspired by hearing Room to Read founder John Wood speak, a group of local volunteers led a project that raised $30,000 to support the organization.

Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in Asia and Africa by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations, and governments, we develop literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children and ensure girls to have the skills and support needed to complete their secondary education.

World change starts with educated children.

See what happens when girls carry books all the way to the next generation.
