1. Objective
not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts
Example of objective
The sergeants Objective was to save america.
2. Subjective
based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions
Example of subjective
The voters were more subjective than objective about voting.
3. Bais
prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another
Example of Bias
Daffy ducks was more bias to others unlike Bugs bunny.
4. Credible/ Valid
believable/ having a sound basis in logic or fact
Example of Credible/ Valid
The lawyer needed credible information to make sure the case has proof so the victim will win the case.
5. Counterargument
argument or reasoning put forward to oppose an idea or theory developed in another argument
Example of Counterargument
The lawyer counter argued and got the other person to sign for custody of child.
6. Fallacy
a mistaken belief, esp. one based on unsound argument
Example of Fallacy
It was a fallacy that he was guilty for for robing a bank.
7. Tone
the general attitude of a piece of writing
Example of tone
This teacher is nervous because its her first day of being a teacher, she is really nervous.
