Giving Thanks
This time of year puts all of us in the mindset of giving thanks for all the blessings in our lives, and expressing our appreciation for each other. We remember to view our world through a lens of gratitude which helps us through this busy season. Gratitude can be expressed through simple acts of kindness, philanthropy, volunteering, and making positive connections with others.
"We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives."
John F. Kennedy's words remind us to take time this week to express our thankfulness. We have many things to be thankful for here at Oakview, including our students and parents, staff, and faculty. I'm grateful for the meaningful work done every day in our building, the kind and good hearts of our students, and the support of our parents and community. The Oakview family wishes everyone a joyful Thanksgiving holiday!
For children,
Phillip Reavis, Ph.D
Principal
