Virtual Author Visit!

Sherman Middle students really enjoyed meeting author Alan Gratz on October 26th. Alan Gratz shared with the students about being an author and his new book Ground Zero. Ground Zero is the story of Brandon, who is trapped in the World Trade Center on 9/11. Alan Gratz is the New York Times bestselling author of seventeen novels for young readers, including Ground Zero, Refugee, Allies, Grenade, Prisoner B-3087, and Projekt 1065. A Knoxville, Tennessee native, Alan is now a full-time writer living in Asheville, North Carolina with his wife and daughter.

This is an amazing opportunity for our students and we would like to thank Melissa Salazar from the Sherman Public Library for facilitating this visit.
