Quote of the Week of August 29 - September 2, 2016
Quotes for the Month of September:
September 12-16: "If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you."
September 19-23: "The best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don't tell you what to see." - Alexandra K. Trenfor
September 26-30: "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." - Thomas Edison
Monthly SEL Theme for the Month of September: COMMUNITY
Last but not least, we must enjoy life - play and have fun - laugh and be well! We, collectively, must understand that believing in these rights and values for everyone is a critical asset in building a sense of community for every generation,
In order for this desire to become a reality you need to be empathetic and demonstrate understanding of others by treating them with kindness, compassion, generosity, and a forgiving spirit.
As Mother Theresa said, "Kind words can be short and east to speak, but their echoes are truly endless."
