Happy FRIDAY!


We are so appreciative of the high level of attendance and engagement that Chattahoochee students showed this week. Let’s keep it up! Our staff worked tirelessly during the extra pre-planning time to put the finishing touches on their TEAMS sites, thinking/planning for innovative ways to use video and document cameras, and to make a pacing that seems doable for them and the students.


I do realize that there are some issues with workloads in some classes and the possible need to adjust “bell” schedules or course workflow and we are prepared to adjust accordingly.

Reminder:

The last day to submit a schedule correction request is Friday, August 28th. A copy of the form can be found using this link: https://bit.ly/2DIFnGh. Complete the form and email it back to your counselor. All approved requests will be updated in Infinite Campus and you can check your schedule there.


Seniors – You were invited to join the Microsoft Teams - Class of 2021 from your counselor. Important announcements and information will be posted there. The Counselors will be hosting a Virtual Senior Information Meeting for students and parents on September 3rd at 5:30pm. A link will be sent to you as we get closer to the date. Mark your calendar!

Residency Verification for 9th Grade Families

Parents of 9th graders:

Fulton County Board Policy requires that we collect a Residency Verification form (attached to this document) from all 9th grade families along with 2 forms of documentation to verify the residence. Please see below for approved documentation. Gas and cable utility bills are not accepted. As a result of our building's limited access, we ask that you please complete the Residency form with your current address information, scan it along with your 2 proofs of residence reflecting the same address, and send all 3 documents to CHATTHSresidency@fultonschools.org. The deadline to receive this documentation is September 28th.

Copy of Section 8/HUD housing contract

Media Center - Library Items, Textbooks and Devices

Please continue to return all library items, textbooks, and devices that you no longer need for the current school year to the cart that is outside the school front entrance. To verify what you still owe, please go to the Hooch Destiny site and sign in with your Student ID and computer login password. Once logged in, click on the stacked icon on the top left and verify your current checkouts and fines. Here is a complete Destiny tutorial on how to verify current checkouts and fines. If you are currently using a county device, please verify that the number in our system matches the one you have. Do not worry that the county device is overdue at this time.


To pay for any library, device, and textbook fines, please go to the Hooch OSP payment site and enter the fine amount before paying. Here is a complete OSP tutorial on how to pay for your fines online. Thank you in advance for returning all school resources to the cart that is placed at the school front entrance and clearing all your fines. For textbook concerns, please email Mr. Reeder at reedert@fultonschools.org. For library item concerns, please email Ms. Greene at greenee3@fultonschools.org.


If you need additional technical assistance for troubleshooting and setting up an appointment for device and accessories exchange, please call 470-254-2300 Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm. If you do not currently own a county device and are still in need of one for URL, please email Ms. Lee at leelc@fultonschools.org.
