President's Post
February 2020
Travel and Adventist Community Services
This past month has been the fastest month so far. We have all been so busy in the office. I guess it’s most noticeable when any of us leave for seminars or training outside of our conference. This month all of us from our ADCOM team have traveled at one time or another. When Martin is gone, I lose my right arm. We always stay in contact with one another, but it’s not the same without him in the office. Martin is a good thinker and helps us with big decisions. I think Martin adding Adventist Community Services (ACS) to his job description was the right thing to do. Martin is solely responsible for the Shower & Laundry trailer for our conference. You can learn more about it at www.gscsda.org/acs
Stan Hobbs
We have someone we feel will be an excellent person to follow Stan Hobbs. Wanda Beck has taught in our conference at the Floral Crest School. She brings a lot of experience, a great work ethic, and a desire to do and follow in the pathway that Stan has blazed. Wanda is a good person, easy to trust, and will follow through on her decisions with our teachers and school boards. Wanda has been voted by the Executive Committee, and we look forward to her joining our team. She will begin April 1st, working beside Stan for a couple of months. God is good to us!

President's Council
Someone asked me this month how I choose where I preach each week in our conference. I responded, “I go where I’m invited.” I love all of our churches, it doesn’t matter if they are big, small, or in-between. To spend Sabbath morning with God’s people all across this conference each week is a privilege.
Until next month,
Dave
