GOOGLE CLASSROOM NOTIFICATIONS
As we begin the process of closing out this school year and preparing for the 2020-2021 academic year, our teachers will be cleaning up their Google Classroom spaces just as they are cleaning up their physical classroom spaces. In this process, it is possible that you might receive an alert that student work is "missing." Please do not email teachers about this as this is simply part of the cleanup and archiving process for these online learning spaces. The only exception would be if a teacher had specifically reached out to your student about missing work or to you with a comment in the classroom or through an email prior to May 20.
SUMMER LEARNING HUB LINK PROVIDED
Dear Parents,
We would like to thank you for not only partnering with us in distance learning, but also for choosing ICCS. Important information is enclosed in the white envelopes sent home today in your student's individual "to-go" bag. Please know that only ICCSWEB accounts are allowed to view the site. Students will need to log in with their ICCSWEB accounts which will remain active through the middle of July. ICCS ALUMNI NEWS
ICCS ALUMNI COMPLETE COLLEGE PROJECT TOGETHER
ICCS Class of 2012 graduates: Jacob Stewart, Austin Crawford and Blake Sockrider are completing the Louisiana Tech University Mechanical Engineering Program. As seniors, students in the program are required to complete a year-long capstone design project by creating a new product to address a real-world problem. Jacob, Austin and Blake were members of a four-person team that created a cooling tower filter screen gantry system designed for, and sponsored by, CLECO in Eunice, Louisiana.
After presenting their research and project to engineering faculty, various business representatives and fellow students, they were awarded first place in the performance division of the capstone competition. They are pictured below with their prototype. Way to go, ICCS Alumni!
PRAYER AGAINST THE CORONAVIRUS
O Mary, you shine continuously along our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the Cross were near to the pain of Jesus, keeping your faith firm.
You, Salvation of the Roman people, know what we need, and we trust that you will provide for those needs so that, as at Cana of Galilee, joy and celebration may return after this moment of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the will of the Father and to do what Jesus tells us, He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and took up our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.
We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.
