As Thanksgiving approaches next week, we wanted to take a moment to say how thankful we are for our students, families, staff, and community members for helping us create a wonderful feeling of community. Working together makes this possible!

Menu Changes

We are having supply chain issues in regards to our lunch menu every week. Our wonderful kitchen staff works hard to let us know of changes as soon as possible. The digital menu is updated as soon as we know of the changes.

Parent Pick-Up Reminders

Please slow down when driving through the pick-up lanes.

We have children walking between the lines loading into cars.

It's important for everyone to be extra cautious.

Water Bottles Reminder

Please send your child to school with a refillable water bottle each day. Students will be drinking from these water bottles throughout the day, as our drinking fountains will not be accessible due to COVID precautions.

Are you interested in Volunteering?

We are looking forward to offering the opportunity to volunteer in our school this year. We will have safety protocols in place for all volunteers at our school.


Volunteers will be required to do the following:


  • Wear a mask
  • Check-in at front office
  • Temperature check
  • Complete attestation form
  • Sanitize hands frequently
  • Sanitize work station when complete
  • Go directly to one specific location and return
  • Be cleared from District Office to volunteer
  • Volunteers must be fully vaccinated by October 18th

Hockinson Heights Elementary

All students will be proficient in reading by the end of second grade and maintain proficiency until the end of fifth grade, because we believe reading is the key for all students to achieve their dreams.
