Silver Creek MS Weekly Newsletter
February 27-March 3
Dear Silver Creek Families
We are almost approaching March. The month of March signals the end of winter and the start of spring- although the weather this winter has been pretty warm. We are already half-way through marking period 3. Interims will be posted this Friday, March 3.
As always, we want to continue to ensure students optimize their learning experiences. During this time of the year, we often see an uptick in students arriving tardy to class. In an effort to reinforce the importance of arriving to class on time, we will implement hall sweeps. When a hall sweep occurs, all students are expected to be in class by the tardy bell. If not, students will be assigned a consequence (unless otherwise excused) by administration. Information about hall sweeps will be shared with staff and students this week prior to it occurring.
As a reminder, we would like your feedback. If you have not done so already, please take a few moments to answer the questions on the google form below to help us determine what is working well and what are some suggested improvements/feedback as we continue the school year Parent/Guardian Survey. Thank you for your time.
The sections marked with an * have been updated with new information OR is a new section in the newsletter. Please make sure to review. As always, thank you for your continued partnership. Let's make it a great week Huskies!
