Drop off and Pick-Up at "The Rock"
The procedure for students who are being dropped off and picked up by an adult will be different this year. Why? To create a safe environment for all students by making the entrance to school a student/staff only zone in the morning and afternoon.
Drop-off: Say good-bye to your children at the rock and allow them to walk up the sidewalk independently. Think, “Hug and Go!” Kinder caregivers are welcome to continue walking our littlest learners up to their meeting area if needed. We have two adults on duty at the rock to help students feel welcomed and safe, and two staff members for every grade in the meeting areas.
Pick-up: Our staff will walk students down to the rock and wait with them until they have been picked up. Caregivers, please help ensure safety and minimize confusion for our bus riders by waiting down at the rock to meet your child. This includes kinder caregivers. Any students remaining after 3:10 PM will be brought back to the office.
