Dear Area 31 Entrepreneurs and Friends,
Many great events coming up next week! On Monday Area 31 Gets Together to share experiences and challenges. On Saturday, there will be a Rapid Prototyping for Social Entrepreneurs with the Unreasonable Institute where entrepreneurs will be able to learn how to prototype to test products. As always, on Thursday we will have our Venture Network Weeklies in Area 31.
During the weekend, don´t miss the opportunity to go and pitch your idea to investors and enjoy many activities at the Cybersecurity Competition and Demo Day. Get to know the ICEX Plan Target US, an initiative targeted to SMEs with a subsidiary in the US. Rapid Prototyping for Social Entrepreneurs with the Unreasonable Institute

Rapid Prototyping is a learning methodology that teaches entrepreneurs how to build simple test models, or prototypes. Having customers/users interact with these prototypes will help entrepreneurs validate the key assumptions in their business. In this workshop, entrepreneurs will first learn the rapid prototyping methodology and then they will build a prototype they can take out into the market. Register here.

Cybersecurity Competition and Demo Day

The call is targeted to entrepreneurs and Startups who will pitch in front of investors and an expert jury. The objective is to offer the participants the possibility to have access to an acceleration program for their companies or projects in 2016, within the second edition of the Accelerator of Projects of INCIBE. José Luis López tells us about its startup Insulclock, the winner of the Health of the Future category of the 5th edition of Passion>ie. Jose Luis has has diabetes for the last 19 years, and being willing improve the life of those who suffer diabetes too, he has used his personal experience to build a small device that is connected to an app that enables the person to know the time and the level of insulin that was administered.
