· We will be filing for flu shots and other adult immunizations with Aetna for those employees who have insurance through TRS Active Care. We will also be filing with BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Baylor Scott & White and United HealthCare for those who have a PPO plan not through the district. Vaccines are covered at 100% so there will be no charge to most of the employees with these insurance plans. There is a very small group of plans that do not cover immunizations. A list of the plans we know don’t cover vaccnations will be listed on the online signup the district will use this year.

· Employees must bring a photo copy of their insurance card as well as a copy of their driver’s license to receive vaccinations at no charge.

For those employees not covered under one of our accepted plans, the flu shots will be $20 for the Quadrivalent flu shot (protects against four strains of flu virus

Emplyees not using insurance can pay with cash or check made out to North Texas Flu Shots.

With 2 weeks remaining in the 1st Six Weeks, plan accordingly for administration of the 1st Six Weeks Common Assessment. Plan far enough in advance to make sure all students are able to take the assessment and to provide an opportunity for students who fail the exam to retake the exam. Everyone has a F.A.I.L.: First Attempt In Learning. Set students up for success. Speak to parents.
