Berkley High School’s U.S. History students are proud to sponsor the 6th annual Military Appreciation Day. On this day, the students at BHS will be honoring the men and women of our military, both veterans and active-duty members. The day is filled with excitement, entertainment, good food, and great conversations.
This is a free event.
Military Appreciation Day
Monday, Nov. 6th, 8am-3pm

This event can be an all-day affair or a morning-only event. You select what works best for you. In order for our event to both celebrate and educate, we ask our military members to wear their uniforms, bring their military memorabilia/photos, and artifacts from their service to our country to share with our high school students.

8:00 a.m to 8:45 a.m. Breakfast
A "military members only" breakfast Meet and Greet in the East gymnasium
9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Welcoming ceremonies
Berkley High School's entire music department will celebrate your service with song and music in our high school auditorium.
10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Student and Military Conversations
You will be escorted to our West gymnasium for home-baked goodies, served by students, and plenty of opportunities to share your stories of service.

12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Military Members Only Lunch
1:00-3:00 p.m. Student and Military Conversations
Military members who chose to stay continue conversations with students in our West gymnasium.
