NWEA and Cohort D Schedules
Later this month, all Wentworth students will take the NWEA, which is the state assessment selected by the Maine Department of Education. Tuesday, May 25 will be for Cohort A students and Thursday, May 27 for Cohort B students. Cohort C students will complete the assessment remotely.
Cohort D students will take the test on one of the above dates (based on when their full in person day is). For the other date, students come into the building following their usual schedule and will spend their day in a different space for SEL-specific activities and supervision. On your child's non-cohort day, a portion of their day in school will be with an allied arts teacher for these activities because their assigned teachers will be proctoring the assessment to the other cohort of students.
