SHSM COOPERATIVE EDUCATION:
Experiential learning is one of the most valuable aspects of the SHSM program.
Co-Op can be completed during grade 11 (recommended), in the summer between grade 11 and 12, or in grade 12. Placements are determined with the Co-Op teacher and must be related to the Sports-Sector.
It is not mandatory to be enrolled in Co-Op to be part of the SHSM program. However, students must complete at least 2 credits of Co-Op to attain their
SHSM Red Seal.
