Homer High-Lights
Volume 2, Issue 9, April 2014
Message from the Principal
Testing
SBA and HSGQE testing will soon be upon us once again. This year testing will be held on April 1st - 3rd. Our schedule will have a different bell schedule and different classes during our block days. Please note the changes and look at the schedule attached below. Monday and Friday will be 6 period days. Lunch will be at 11:35 all week.
Juniors and seniors who have already passed the HSGQE won't need to come to school until after lunch at 12:10.
Testing is a big deal for Homer High School because we want everyone in the state to know how talented and hardworking our students and staff are. Please help us by making sure your child is at school and well rested on these dates. Thanks for all of your help and understanding during this week.
Remember, my office is always open and I appreciate hearing your opinions or suggestions. I am making it my goal to be more responsive to what our parents and community want and need. Please give me a call or come in and chat.
Sincerely,
Douglas Waclawski
Principal
