CIU 20 Welcomes Back Our School Leaders
As your new year begins, all of you have been given the task to lead your school on the path to success. School leadership can make a profound difference in shaping school culture and increasing learning opportunities for all. Former U.S. Secretary of Education (2009-2016), Arne Duncan said, "There are no good schools without good principals... and where you have good principals, great teachers come, and they stay, they work hard, and they grow".
CIU 20 remains committed to do whatever it takes to ensure that you are supported in your role as an educational leader. Some of the supports in place at CIU 20 are in depth professional learning opportunities that will give you valuable information on the many educational initiatives. In this newsletter you will read about many upcoming
opportunities. You can also go to ciu20.org where you will find all of our professional learning opportunities in the fall course and workshop booklet. Wishing all of you a successful 2016-2017 school year!
