It’s hard to believe that we are already through another school year. Here are a few things to note as we close up for the summer:

Report Cards:  Our K-6 year-end report cards are available on the HSD Parent Portal as of 4:00 pm. Wednesday, June 27. Parents or guardians who do not have Parent Portal access will receive a hard-copy of the report card; the student will bring a copy home at the end of the day on Wednesday, or if necessary, the report will be sent out in the mail at the beginning of July.

Note that the class placement for fall is indicated in the Principal’s Comments box. You will also find the date that your child will be attending Strong Connections in the fall. Hopefully, knowing this information this far in advance will help you with planning.

Lost & Found:  Our lost and found items will remain in the front entrance of the school until Friday, June 29th. By early afternoon of that day, all unclaimed items will be washed, packed and dropped off at a charity.

Supply Lists:–  The supply lists for each grade have been posted on our website at www.les.hsd.ca. Teachers are requesting payment instead of supplies. The teacher is then ordering the supplies so that all of the students share them and they are all the same. An added benefit is bulk pricing.

MOVING? If you are planning to move locations during the summer, please call our Landmark Elementary office (204-355-4663) before July 1st, after August 22nd , or contact the school division transportation office at 204-320-2347 any time after June 30th.

CONTINUING COMMUNICATION: ☐ Our school office is closed from July 1st – August 21st , and re-opens Wednesday, August 22nd from 9:00 a.m until noon.

Landmark Elementary Sign: Check out the sign outside of our school for reminders of events and times in the fall.
