Noble in Feudalism
By: Patrick Charters
A noble has the responsibility of going over the reports of the land he owns about crops grown and supplies. A noble also has to manage the financial situation of his land such as taxes. Another necessary thing for a noble to do is to resolve tenants problems such as marriage approval or other disputes.
A noble lives in a manor house and not a shack. The noble has more food than the peasants. Nobles did not have to do physical work in the community.
In the daily life of a noble he must attend mass. He must also attend political discussions and decisions. Later in the day the noble spends time on the arts such as music. After this he spends som time inspecting his estate. He ends the day with evening mass then supper and then the time for bed was dictated by the noble.
