HOLIDAY READING
LIBRARY BOOKS
We would really like to encourage you to keep your children reading over the holidays! As a result we will once again open the library up next week for families to come in and issue out 10 books to have at home over the holidays. The library will be open for families from Monday 9th April to Thursday 12 April from:8.30 - 8.55,12.30 — 1.30 and from 3.00 –3.20. We would really love to see Mum’s or Dad’s coming in to the library with their children to select their 10 books. We will also be requiring all children to keep a reading log over the holidays. The teachers will go over this with the children and they will receive their log on the last day of the term. This time all children will have the option to complete their log in their blog. Reading Logs and holiday library books will need to be returned to school on the first day back after the holidays. If every child reads, or was read to, for 15 minutes each dayX7 days = 105 minutes 2 weeks holiday = 210 minutes per child (3 1/2 hours of reading time) - WOW! We look forward to seeing you next week in the library selecting books with your children.

TOKO SCHOOL & DISTRICTS 125TH JUBILEE:
JUBILEE BOOK
Jan Worthington, ex Toko School Teacher & Parent has spent an extraordinary amount of time putting this book together. It looks amazing, full of photos, stories from current students and a great record of Toko School, and most importantly the previous 25 years. Order forms are available at the school office. We really encourage past and present families to purchase a copy.
