Message from the Principal

Dear Kimball Hill Families,


What a great turn out we had at our Back to School Bash! It was so wonderful to celebrate the start of a new school year with so many families! A huge thank you to the best PTA for planning such a great event! Thanks to Kona Ice, Lincoln Land Kettlecorn, DJ Jules, Skates the Chicago Wolf, our friendly Cougar mascot, Goldfish, Hair Design by Karie, HK Martial Arts and all the Parent volunteers who helped make it all possible! The students were so excited and are still talking about how much fun they had! Pictures are attached.


As a reminder, there is no school Monday due to the holiday! We look forward to seeing all students on Tuesday, September 5th.

Safety Week

During the week of September 11th, our entire school will practice our required drills in order to teach students expectations and procedures during an emergency drill. All students will be informed that they are safe and there is no threat. Teachers will share information in an age appropriate way. Parents may choose to opt out of the Lockdown drill on September 12th, observed by the Rolling Meadows Police. We do highly encourage all students to participate so they are aware of what to do. If you would like to opt out, please email your child's teacher by Wednesday, September 6th so that we can find an alternate location. Once each drill is conducted, I will send an email to inform you.

Boys & Girls Club

Boys & Girls Club

As a reminder, we are very excited to partner up with the Boys & Girls Club to offer after school enrichment to our students. The program runs five days a week from 3:00-6:00 on Mondays-Thursdays and until 5:15 on Fridays. Please reach out to Yulitza Leyva, our liaison to enroll your child at yleyva@bgcdt.org

  • Join for Kimball Hill Night at the Chicago Wolves hockey game on Saturday, January 27 at 7pm. It is also Superhero Night! Each person who attends will receive a FREE Chicago Wolves hat.   • Friday: 8:25 am – 2:15 pm

Kinder AM

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:25 am – 11:00 am
  • Friday: 8:25 am – 10:35 am

Kinder PM:

  • Monday-Thursday: 12:30 pm – 3:05 pm
  • Friday: 12:05 pm – 2:15 pm

Office Hours: 7:25 am – 3:55 pm, Monday- Friday


Doors open at 8:10am for students who need breakfast! All other students should plan to arrive closer to 8:20am. School begins at 8:25am and students will be marked tardy after 8:25.
