Park Suggestions
- Download the "Universal Studio" and "Disneyland" apps. You can pair your Disney ticket yo your account once you receive your ticket.
- Disney MAXPASS - $15/day - allows you to reserve a FastPass on the app versus visiting each ride and printing out the FastPass tickets.
- Plan your day with your friends. It makes it a lot easier to run around the parks if you have a plan. You will 2 days at Disney/California Adventure, there will be plenty of time to do it all.
- Plan your distance to CHAPERONE CHECK-IN: Do not be late to check-ins.
- Bring an empty reusable water bottle to save money and refill throughout the day.
Meals
- Meals cost about $12-15 each. Plan on $30-50 per day for park food. (This does not include snacks or souvenirs)
- There are vegetarian and vegan options at the parks. If you are having trouble finding them, ask a Cast member for Disney or Universal and they can guide you to the correct location.
- Update: NO meal vouchers are given for this trip. Students may buy a meal pass once you arrive at the parks if available.

Percussion
Wakeland Percussion:
We are very excited about next year’s marching show and for what the upcoming season has in store! The Spring/Summer calendar was passed out earlier this year and can be found on Google Classroom. A full band calendar can be found at wakelandband.org.
Each member has received the Wakeland High School Percussion Packet that we will be using throughout the marching season and for our drumline camps. It was recently passed out during class. I will also make it available to google classroom later this week.
Drumline Spring Camp begins on March 20 occurring on each Wednesday from 5:00p-6:30p until May 8 (no camp April 17). There is also camp on Saturday, April 13 from 8:00a-5:00p. Auditions will take place on May 4. More information about the Saturday practice and audition will be communicated as we get closer to those dates.
May 11 is the Wakeland High School Band Registration and Hype Day. This will likely take place between 8:00a and 5:00p but times have not been set yet. More information will be provided as we get closer to that date.
Please bring the packet, a pair of sticks and mallets, and wear athletic closed toed shoes to the camps. Please communicate all conflicts ahead of time to myself or Mr. Collins. If you have any questions as we start getting into drumline camp season please let me know. I look forward to seeing each of you at the camps! This is going to be a very special year!
