Spring RTI Schedule
Feedback from grade level leaders helped me decide that we will begin meeting on Tuesdays for RTI this semester. We will continue to meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays except for January. I will send calendar invitations to everyone.
RTI Procedures Reminder:
Tier 1
- Set aside time to discuss Tier 1 students in your weekly team meeting.
- When the team determines that it is time to move the student to a Tier 2, the teacher will contact Mrs. Burkhalter to open the tier.
- Mrs. Taylor cannot open Tiers.
Tier 2 & 3
- These students are discussed at the campus RTI/SST meeting.
- Decisions about these students are determined in the meeting.
- Come to the meeting with your part of the forms completed.
The RTI/SST determined that my student needs to be tested. What next?
- It is the teacher's responsibility to go see Mrs. Taylor for a referral packet.
- Mrs. Taylor will go through the referral process with the teacher and tell you about the documents needed in order to process the referral.
- Mrs. Taylor will discuss the timelines with the teacher.
- Completed Referral Packets are turned back in to Mrs. Taylor.
- Mrs. Taylor checks the packet and turns it over to either Mrs. Herron or Mrs. Garcia.
