General Information
In communications, the PreK board report and a gift basket from FFA were shared. The FFA provided each member with a care package highlighting the agriculture industry. The BOE and Superintendent Kashner shared their appreciation for the FFA and the quality of their program.

Old Business
Bids for the EES addition project will be due on May 11th with a pre-bid meeting held on April 27th. Superintendent Kashner shared that he hoped with the scope of the project that we will have multiple bids come in. It is anticipated that the BOE will consider the bids at the May board meeting.
The 2022-2027 Strategic plan was finalized. Eastland's five primary strategic goals center on curriculum and instruction (to develop and use instructional practices and programs that will ensure every student graduates with the core competencies identified in the district's vision), health and wellness (nutrition, social and emotional learning and to provide a variety of co and extracurricular activities that complement and enrich the students' educational experiences), transportation (to transport students to and from school and school activities safely, efficiently and comfortably), facilities (to provide safe and effective learning facilities), and finances (manage financial responsibly to provide the best possible resources for students and staff).
