Spelling Bee

CFES Campus Spelling Bee- Congratulations to our 2021-22 CFES Grade Level Spelling Bee Winners! These students will compete on Thursday at 9:00 in the CFES Campus Spelling Bee. Parents who choose to attend will need to plan to arrive early enough to check in through the front office. Mrs. Merida will conduct a practice on Wednesday to familiarize students with the guidelines and procedures. Feel free to reach out to her with any Spelling Bee questions you might have. This is always as exciting event for our students, and we wish them luck as they prepare for Thursday!

Life Principle of the Week

Life Principle of the Week: Optimism-an inclination to put the most favorable construction upon actions and happenings or to anticipate the best possible outcome

Looking for the best in things

“The average pencil is seven inches long, with just a half-inch eraser – in case you thought optimism was dead.” – Robert Brault

Celebration: Ice Ice Baby - Freeze

Call Back: Some people are...worth melting for.

Expectation #2: We will not laugh at or make fun of a person's mistakes or use sarcasm or put downs

Did You Know...

Did you know our students participated in several activities on campus celebrating the holidays this year? All CFES students took part in a Day of Giving to give back to others during the holiday season. Each grade level used their hands and heart to create a special gift for various groups in our community. Some of the items included dog treats, blankets, wreaths, decorated lunch bags and ornaments. Many people and pets were touched by the kindness of our students.

Students enjoyed games and treats on the last school day, organized by our amazing PTO and room parents. We were excited to welcome so many parents as they volunteered in classrooms, lead games, hosted the treat bar and served a pizza lunch. Thank you parents for the time and effort you gave to make the holidays special for our students!
