Testing Day- Now What?
ASVAB- The military will send us results in the next few weeks. Either a recruiter or one of the counselor's will go over the results with students.
PSAT- Results will not be posted until the second week of December. Students will be able to log into their College Board account to view results. Counselors will call students in to review information once those results have been posted by College Board
Pre-ACT- We generally receive results close to December as well for the Pre-ACT. Counselors will go over results with students in their English classes.
Field Trip Students- We hope they found value in their college visit experience and they are excited about their future endeavors.

3/4 Left of Senior Year...Time Flies
The Honeymoon is Over
1) Use an organization tool. This can be a paper agenda or a technology tool such as a phone. Some students take pictures of the white boards and some use homework apps. Whichever one you choose, use it daily to make it a habit.
2) Communicate to others if you need help. Teachers, counselors and parents sometimes don't realize you need help until it is too late to dig yourself out of a hole. Talk to your teacher and go in and get help! Conferences is a great time for teacher, parent, and student to have a conversation.
3) Build consistent good habits. You won't wake up one morning with the ability to be super organized and motivated; you have to work at it! Practice makes permanent.
4) Studying outside of class for a test is a must.
