Track Program Medals 3, Clemons Wins State Championship

It was a great day for the Howell Track program at the MSHSAA State Championships. The bad weather that came through Jefferson City forced the State Championships to be held at multiple sites on Saturday and the Vikings made the best of the situation and earned three medals on the day. Mason Brock placed 6th in the javelin to become the first Viking to medal at State in the javelin. Brooke Clemons had a great day as she became the first Howell and FHSD para-athlete to win a State Championship. Brooke won the State Championship in the shot put with a throw of 9 foot 2 inches. She then followed up her State Championship performance with a second place finish in the 100. Congratulations to all of our track athletes that competed at the State Championships.
