Charles Dickens
During his life he had mad many accomplishments including becoming a famous person and writer. One of his most famous novels, A Christmas Carol, was one of those accomplishments he had made, not a lot of people believed in Christmas before his books inspired many of those. It had become the most enduring Christmas myths of modern literature, and the story was written in just a few weeks, and was published on Dec. of 1843. Many of his novels teach lessons and talk about things that happened in his past. His childhood was not a good one, his family had gone into debt and had to go to jail. Dickens never got to be with his family, he had to work really hard in order to pay off the debt for them. In April, 1836, he married Catherine Hogarth, the daughter of a newspaper associate. The first of their 10 children were born in 1837. In 1842, he spent a 5 month vacation in the United States, becoming even more famous for his great novels.
