HOW TO STAY SAFE?
social network
While using Facebook always think about what you are going to post. It may sound funny to you but to someone else it may sound bad and offensive and the next thing you know it will haunt you. It op takes people only a few seconds for people to copy and share your words or pictures in ways that you may not intend.
Another key point in Facebook is never accept people's request you don't know personally. This is rally dangerous because you may be innocent and people will black mail you in harmful way maybe resulting you to make unwanted moves. As all humans make mistakes, if you do accept a request do not hesitate to block or report the person if he/she is acting inappropriate.
As you may know texting is frequent thing in Facebook, if an unknown texts you door reply, and if you do and they ask for inappropriate things out of do not hesitate to report because this is known as sexting and is a crime.
Keep your profile as private which means only your friends and family can see your posts, this prevents from black mailing and sexting, two of he major crimes done via Internet.
I request all Instagram users not to put their private life deatails on your about wall, because this is very dangerous. People can easily stalk you and it can result to bad things.
Always be careful on what you are going to post on your site because it is visible to the whole world. For your safety make sure you make your account private so only your freinds and family can veiw you pictures. It is one of the common necessity of sexting, cybulling and black mailing.
Snapchat
The biggest problem with SnapChat is it gives teens a falseness of security when they send out pictures. This is why one of its most common uses is sexting and cyber bullying. Teens think they can send a naked picture of themselves to a boyfriend or girlfriend and it will be gone after the recipient views the picture. Likewise, those who seek to bully others can send bullying pictures to their victims with the assumption that the picture will disappear before their victim can show it to an adult. However, this is not a valid assumption.
Perhaps one of the most important things you should remember about this app is you need to be careful what you send. Always keep in mind that whatever is posted on the Internet, even if you choose to delete it through automatic deletion or manually later, there is still a chance it is out there.
In snapchat there is a possible chance for an unknown person to send you images and start texting you, I recomend if this happens have no second thoughts and block them. If you do not form this action, you may face heavy consequences such as cyber bullying and black mailing.
