The Falcon Report

September 9, 2016

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to school! This time of year is always an exciting time to get caught up, learn new things, and start the school year right. Here is your bi-weekly Falcon Report. We hope you enjoy it!

Don't forget to check out our website and Facebook page. We like to keep them as up-to-date as possible with information that you'll be interested in. We hope that you'll enjoy keeping up with our school's happenings as the year goes along.

From the District Administrator's Office

There isn't anything as rewarding and confirming about being in education as seeing the faces of students and their parents on the first day of school. They are all coming trusting we will do everything we can to provide a high quality educational experience for every child that walks through our doors. We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to do our part to help our children grow.

Thank you to our parents for sharing your children with us and thank you to our students for everything you do to make this a great place to be.

We are looking forward to a fantastic year!

From the Elementary Principal's Office

Welcome back to school Flambeau Falcons! I hope the students have enjoyed their first week and half as much as I have. I have been able to meet many of the students, including the new students with our new student ice cream social. It has been a great way for us all to get to know each other. I'm looking forward to meeting a lot more students and parents and hope to see you all at the Flambeau Color Run on Saturday, September 24th! Go Flambeau!

It's hard to believe we will be having our fourth varsity football game this Friday. Cross Country has had three meets with a fourth this weekend in Fall Creek. Swimming is at Superior this weekend and Volleyball is a fourth of the way into their season.

Buses are back on the road so please keep a vigilant eye. Where there is a bus there is or will be a child. Drive carefully.

Welcome Back to School!

What a great start to the school year! Thank you to all of the staff, parents, and students who have made this a fun, exciting, and educational start to the 2016/17 school year. The staff here were as excited as the students to get started, and loved having the opportunity to greet them off of the buses. There are a few pictures below of the fun we had in our first few days!

The Color Run is Coming to Flambeau!

Flambeau's PTA is hosting a color run for Flambeau students on Saturday, September 24th. Students need to earn a minimum of $30 in donations to participate, so please contact a Flambeau student or PTA member if you are willing to donate! This should be a great opportunity to benefit Flambeau's students but also to have a lot of fun! Anyone is welcome to participate, so please contact a PTA member if you'd like to join in on the fun. Please also feel free to come cheer on the runners/walkers.
