Thought for the week...

I saw this picture and it reminded me so much of the challenging work you face each day. You come to work each day ready to help a child succeed and be all that they can imagine. You plan, collaborate, and share ideas all in the pursuit of school-wide success. You work hard to find new ways to make learning relevant and fun for your students, and no matter what obstacle lies ahead, you keep fighting. Keep up the great work and remember, NEVER give up the pursuit for greatness!

Another TKES reminder...

Please check the TKES platform and make sure you have completed the self-assessment. You need to share and finalize the self-assessment. You should have a green circle once it's complete.

Also, make sure you are signing off on all of your TKES evaluations. The platform no longer notifies you once an observation has been complete.

We will begin conducting mid-year conferences the last week in December and continue after winter break. Please bring your Blue teacher cards with you to the conference meetings.

From Heather Welch:

What is Seesaw?

Seesaw is a learning journal that empowers students to independently capture what they are learning at school with photos, videos and their voice. It is personalized learning at its best. Seesaw also gives parents a personalized look or window into their child's day or learning experience.

Online training sessions are available here. Learn how to use Seesaw from the comfort of your couch! You'll leave with teacher tested tips you can use tomorrow! Recorded sessions are available as well. Hour, 30 min and 10 min sessions just for you!
