Community Summit and STEM Education

Hear Me Roar: Discovering the Champion in Me

A platform to respond to positive youth development, character building, and to encourage students to be interested and aware of possibilities in STEM

The summit is intended to provide a forum for middle school students’ grades 6th - 8th grades, to equip, excite, and connect young people. Workshops will address broad areas of empowerment, expectations, and securing awareness in STEM. It will help them organize, network, learn new things, share their hopes and concerns in a public setting. The desired outcome of the EmergingYoung Leaders Community Summit is for participants and their parents to be better equipped to take actions resulting in their future and ultimately making their communities better places for all.
