This year, some Ignite proceeds will be used for campus upgrades, including the installation of a motor lab. Research shows that regular "brain breaks" allow for refocusing the brain on learning concepts and retention of factual information. During breaks, the brain moves away from learning, memorizing, and problem solving to help incubate and process new information. We are excited about the prospects of the motor lab, and look forward to your participation at the gala to help us achieve this goal!
Making a Plan
Some solutions to problems are complicated and need a plan. Plans help you break down a big task into smaller, more manageable parts.
Students will be able to:
Explain the purpose of making a plan
Create a three-step plan to carry out a solution to a problem
