RIVER PLACE PTA IGNITE GALA April 21st

"TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW"

RIVER PLACE PTA IGNITE GALA

APRIL 21

at

RIVER PLACE COUNTRY CLUB

After last year's financial success of the first River Place Elementary PTA Gala, the Gala is being held again as our primary fundraiser. Tickets are $75 per person and include dinner, open bar, a live band with emcee, and silent and live auctions. There are 6 VIP reserved tables of ten available. All other seats are available as non-reserved.

NEW THIS YEAR: Purchase a discounted ticket ($50) for your favorite teachers! Don't forget your support faculty who would love to attend - Reading Specialists (SRP, Dyslexia), Specials Teachers (Art, Library, PE, Performing Arts), and Special Education Teachers!

Important Gala Information:

This year, some Ignite proceeds will be used for campus upgrades, including the installation of a motor lab. Research shows that regular "brain breaks" allow for refocusing the brain on learning concepts and retention of factual information. During breaks, the brain moves away from learning, memorizing, and problem solving to help incubate and process new information. We are excited about the prospects of the motor lab, and look forward to your participation at the gala to help us achieve this goal!

Second Step

Making a Plan

Some solutions to problems are complicated and need a plan. Plans help you break down a big task into smaller, more manageable parts.

Students will be able to:

Explain the purpose of making a plan

Create a three-step plan to carry out a solution to a problem
