ADL Mission & Values
ADL Mission: What we do every day matters- we are here to grow a vibrant community of caring, connected and inspired learners.
Our Core Values:
Well-Being, Relationships, Opportunities, Ingenuity, Perseverance
From the Principal's Desk
The spring has flown by, and it is hard to believe we are just about to the end of another school year. I am very proud of how our ADL community weathered a rather challenging year together by staying true to our mission and core values every step of the way.
We celebrated wrapping up our spring testing season with a fun Spirit Week last week. Students showed their ADL school spirit in red and white, celebrated our LGBTQIA+ friends and neighbors with rainbow colors on PRIDE day, and got very creative with "Anything but a Backpack" day on Friday!
The end of a school year is always a whirlwind filled with events. Student leaders, the ADL band, chorus, and orchestra led our annual Memorial Day livestreamed assembly on May 27th. There are various team events planned over the last few days, including the 8th grade trip to Sparetime for bowling and laser tag on June 13th. We will celebrate our 8th graders at our 8th grade promotion ceremony on June 15th, and hold a Step-Up day activity on the last day of school for incoming 6th graders and rising 7th graders to meet their new teachers and teams.
Thank you for all of your support and care of our special ADL community this year. I am wishing all of our students and families a happy, healthy summer!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Wood
