My Mount Rushmore

Mount Rushmore

If I could design my own Mount Rushmore I would have the faces of the following people, who are important to me, carved into the granite. The faces that I would put into my Mount Rushmore would be my mom (Crystal), my dad (Lydell), my grandma (Becky), and my uncle (Leo). There are four faces of former presidents on the actual Mount Rushmore: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. It was designed by Gutzon Borglum. It is near Keystone, South Dakota.

My First Person

The first person I would put on my Mount Rushmore is my mom, Crystal.

She taught me how to have good manners in the store and at home. My mom also taught me how to chew with my mouth closed. Mom also taught me how to tie my shoes when I was little. She taught me how to make the loop when I tie my shoes she told me to think of a bunny when I tie my shoes.

My Second Person

My grandma takes the time to watch me and my brother, and I Clayton, when my mom and dad go somewhere. My grandma fixes me food when I am there for lunch. My grandma loves me.These are some of the reasons I would put my grandma, Becky Rea, on my Mount Rushmore.

My Third Person

There are two reasons I would put my dad, Lydell, on my Mount Rushmore. One reason is he loves me and I love him. He gives me hugs at night and kisses me in the morning. He also takes me to Girl Scout meetings. He takes me when my mom can't take me.

My Fourth Person

I would put my uncle,Leo ,on my Mount Rushmore for two reasons. My first reason is he watches me. When my mom and dad go on trips he lets me stay at his house. He also tells me jokes that make me laugh. When I am over, he tells a lot of jokes that are funny.

Conclusion

In conclusion, these are the four people I would nominate to go on my Mount Rushmore: my mom, my dad, my uncle, and my grandma. They are the most awesome people that I have known in my whole life. Even though they will never be on Mount Rushmore, I still love them.
