The White House
The White House after the invasion of the capital, mostly still in tact and a lot of important artifacts saved.
The Star Spangled Banner
During the battle of Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Francis Scott Key witnessed the battle first hand. He saw that the flag was still standing after large amounts of bombings. He was so amazed at what he witnessed, that he wrote the ''defense of Fort McHenry'' later used as the national anthem.
Old Ironsides
During the war of 1812, a group of White, free slaves, indians created a ship that was more advanced then any of the british ships, it won a lot of the Navel battles and helped america during its time of war.

The Chesapeake Campaign
This is when the british invade american and attack the capital. The british had Burned down much of the White House along with other Government buildings.
The Southern Campaign
This Campaign caused many battles and took many lives for both the british and the Americans. Two of these battles was The Battle of Horseshoe and The Battle of New Orleans.
Naval Battles
Many of The attacks happened in the water, which caused a lot of ships to stand up against more powerful British ships, until the America built Ironsides, which was more advance then a lot of british ships during that period of time.

3. Factories are Built because of the British blockade
4. New War heroes arise and become influential in politics
Indians lose land
After the war, Native American were forced to leave their lands and homes later called the trials of tears, many men, women, and children died on this trial.
William Henry Harrison
On september 17, 1812. William Henry Harrison was made The Commander of the Army, he worked on protecting American settlements. Under his command, they won many battles and pushed back british forces. He was later the president but died hours after giving his speech.
Andrew Jackson
During the war of 1812, He was appointed as Major General and was sent to New Orleans to prepare the cities defenses against 1700 British forces, after that battle, the British withdrew forces from that region. He was later the seventh president.
