Collection for the Bahamas

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lakeland is one of Catholic Charities’ five collection sites within the Diocese. We will be joining the Catholic Charities by collecting any of following items. All items should be brought to school before September 26th, and we will deliver them to St. Joseph.

Supply List for Bahamas

Canned goods (pop tops)

Manual Can Openers

Meals Ready to Eat

Hygiene /Feminine Kits

First Aid Kits

Large Trash Bags

Mosquito repellent cream

Bleach (gallon size)

Chlorine Tablets (for water purification)

Non-perishable dry goods (food, cereal)

Dry rice and beans (1 pound bags)

Cleaning supplies (brooms, mops, buckets, towels, disinfectant, trash rakes, leaf rakes)

Air beds (twin and double)

Blankets

Inverter generators

Gas cans (without gas)

Solar generators (Solar panels, or solar lights)

Baby Supplies (wipes, canned juice, baby food, diapers, formula)

Toilet paper and hand towels

Bath soap

Bath towels

Large Tupperware type storage containers (20 gallon) loose items can be packet in these.
