Team Granite Class Trip

On Friday, May 6, 2016, we will take our learning beyond the walls of Unami for the 7th grade Team Granite field trip. We will begin our day with a breakfast and team activities. Students will then head to Philadelphia and depart from Penn's Landing on the Spirit of Philadelphia, cruising the Delaware River, and enjoying a buffet lunch while exploring the spectacular views of historic Philadelphia.

Through some negotiations and use of our share of the money from the Magazine Fundraiser, we have been able to reduce the cost of the trip to $34.65 (which includes transportation). Our deadline for payment and completion of the electronic permission slip is Friday, March 18.

Please see directions below as all CB Middle Schools are now using a new electronic system for managing field trip permission slips and collecting funds.

All CB Middle Schools are now using My Payments Plus for parents/guardians to use to pay for field trips, PE uniforms, student activities and other fees.

This is our first time using www.mypaymentsplus.com - it seems to be working well in our high schools. The cost, $34.65 and permission slip, is managed through this system. Parents/guardians will need to do the payment and fill out the permission slip online. This online format is a new process; please let us know if you run into any difficulty.

If this is your first time using mypayments plus, you must register by doing the following:

Choose Register a Free Account and complete registration process.

Once you have registered, complete the following steps


2. Select "I have a student enrolled in the district"

3. Enter your student's ID (on parent portal to the right of student's picture or on the back of the student ID) and last name.

4. Select "Unami Granite: Spirit of Philadelphia Trip”.

5. Select Continue with Payment

The permission slip will also need to be filled out to complete the transaction. Both the payment and permission slip are due by Friday, March 18.


We are in need of nine parent chaperones to make this trip possible. To volunteer you must have completed the necessary background checks and be included on the District’s approved volunteer list. Chaperones will be accepted on a first come first accept basis. If you are interested in being a chaperone please email Dr. Massey at jmassey@cbsd.org.
