September Newsletter

Welcome to the beginning of a wonderful dance year! We are excited to get started! Everyone should have received a welcome note upon registration, if you did not please contact us. Please watch your email for monthly newsletters, reminders, and payment reminders. If you are not receiving our emails or your email changes at any point, please contact us and let us know. Newsletters will be emailed out, posted on the website, available on your parent portal and past our in class. If you check your email regularly and want to go paperless, let us know! (Yay, trees!). We love to keep the information lines open! If you have questions or suggestions, let us know! Below are this months important reminders:

PARENT PORTAL: Through you parent portal you can pay online, enroll in auto-pay, see notes, communicate with your child's teacher and all than fun jazz! If you registered your child online, then you have already created a parent portal! If you have not yet created a parent portal, visit diversitydanceutah.com and click the parent portal tab.

MONTHLY TUITION: The monthly dance fee is due the first week of class each month. If not paid the first week, a $10.00 late fee will be applied. We are willing to work with anyone on your dance payments if we know in advance the circumstances. If there are any returned checks there will be a $30.00 return check fee. You can pay online through your parent portal or enroll in auto-pay. You can also pay by cash or check at the studio. If you pay with cash or check please put your payments in the payment box, located at the top of stairs by the first bathroom. If paying with cash, please put it in an envelope with name and date as well as what it is for. If paying with check please write the students name in the memo section and what it is for.

SHOES: All students are required to have Eclipse Half Sole Shoes (with the exception of Hip Hop Classes, Teen Company, and Tumbling). Eclipse Shoes are $20.00, Academy Hip Hop Shoes are $25.00, and Company Hip Hop shoes are $40.00. Eclipse shoes are a;ways available at the studio. Please pay online or put your payment in the payment box and remember to specify what it is for!

FUNDRAISERS: Earn 4% back from the Smith Gift fundraiser that goes all year long! Smith orders need to be texted/emailed to Dawn Erickson by 5:30 PM on September 15th and 29th. Pick up and payment is 5:30 PM the Thursday proceeding at the studio. Company dancers: the bulb fundraiser is due September 17th! Now that the studio is separated in two rooms, it is VERY important that ALL dancers use the bathroom before coming to dance and bring a water bottle with them! This will minimize the traffic going through dance rooms. We also ask that you do not drop your child off more than 5 minutes early and that you are there ready to pick them up when their class ends. Students waiting for their class or ride can be a distraction to the other students and students are not to wait outside for their ride! Both our students learning and safety is important to us to please on time when dropping off and picking up! Thank you in advance.
